Natural Tie-Dye Poster 

We Invented the Weekend, MediaCity 2023 is a personal graphic design project created during my time living in MediaCity. While exploring the area, I came across the We Invented the Weekend festival and was inspired by its creative and community-driven atmosphere.

The poster is based on an original photograph I took at a stand offering a natural tie-dyeing experience. I was drawn to the scattered dried flowers for their organic textures and colour, which became the foundation of the design. This project was one of my first personal explorations into layout and typography, using image-led composition to explore typographic hierarchy, balance, and visual storytelling.
